Mr. Collins has 30 years of experience managing and leading in both industry and government positions. He has successfully directed high-profile geospatial operations and remote sensing initiatives in support of federal and state emergency response events, homeland security assessments, and intelligence and military operations. Mr. Collins has served as the regional lead for a large defense contractor where he was responsible for profit and loss, personnel leadership, and business growth across five states. He has also served as project manager and director for the stand-up of operational elements within United States military and intelligence communities, served as systems engineering lead for the ground operations of a large-scale satellite program, and has extensive experience as the project and portfolio manager for multiple large and small projects. Prior to forming Intterra in 2010, Mr. Collins was a Senior Principal at SRA International, previously performed civil service within the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, was a technical manager for the Boeing Company and Autometric, Inc, and (most important) served as a United States Marine. He is a graduate of Rice University and the Naval Postgraduate School.
